What gets in the way for video production

  • Shoot costs that never get billed

Equipment hire, crew and travel are paid on the day and forgotten by the time the invoice goes out.

  • Balances chased for weeks

The final cut is delivered, the client is happy, and the balance sits unpaid.

  • No idea which jobs made money

Every production feels busy, but nobody can say which ones were profitable.

How it helps

Everything in one place, built for how you work

  • Advance, shoot and final cut as milestones

Bill each stage of a production as its own invoice, for its own amount, when it falls due.

  • Costs recorded against the job

Crew, equipment hire, travel and music licences recorded against the project, with costs you pass on added to the invoice.

  • Payments recorded as they arrive

Advances by bKash, balances by bank, each recorded with its transaction ID against the right invoice.

  • Reminders for unpaid balances

Once a balance is past its due date, the client is reminded by email, and the WhatsApp message is ready for you to send.

How it fits in

An ordinary month, start to finish

No installation and nothing to download: it runs in the browser on a laptop or a phone.

  1. Step 1

    Quote and win the job

Track the enquiry on the pipeline, then turn it into a client and a project with its agreed value.

  2. Step 2

Bill the advance before the shoot

The first milestone goes out as its own invoice with your payment details on it.

  3. Step 3

    Record the day’s costs

Crew, equipment and travel recorded against the project as they are paid.

  4. Step 4

    Deliver and collect the balance

Invoice the final milestone with any costs you pass on. If it turns overdue, an email reminder goes out for you.

Something else? injamam@deenlytics.com

Can I add shoot expenses to the client’s invoice?

Yes. Expenses recorded against a client or project can be added to an invoice as lines, and removing the line makes the cost billable again.

Can I see the profit on each production?

Record the costs against the project and invoice the work from it. The reports page shows income, expenses and profit for any period.

Can my editors and producers use it too?

Yes. Invite them as staff. Each plan includes a number of team members, listed on the pricing page.
